Here at Family Homes, the success of our company depends on our ability to provide a great service to you. To succeed we must first find you the right property, at the right price and when you need it. This is what we aim to do and this is how we do it:
Register with us
The first step is to register with Family Homes by simply calling us. Our experienced lettings negotiators need as much information as possible about the type of property you are looking for and are experts in helping you find your ideal property.
The search begins
With a clear understanding of your requirements, we will compile a selection of properties that match your criteria for you to look at. Also, at your request, we can add you to our “mailing list” and instantly alert you as new properties that may interest you become available.
Viewings
Viewings are accompanied, by appointment and conducted during normal business hours, in the evenings or at weekends. We also offer you the luxury of chauffeuring you there and back again. But remember, when at viewing, imagine how you and your family would operate in the property, can this house practically support the needs of your life.
Selecting a property
Once you’ve identified a suitable property and supplied us with details of referees, references will be applied for and your information will be forwarded to the landlord for acceptance. But if you are struggling to decide, given our experience, we can offer you a new perspective on searching for a house; or bring your feet back to ground, because often tenants will get too emotionally attached to properties without exploring how practical the property could be for your life.
Tenancy agreement
Once the landlord confirms that they would like to proceed we will draw up the relevant paperwork, forming an agreement to be signed by both parties.

Inventory
An inventory of the contents and condition of the property is produced prior to commencement of the tenancy. This will be supplied to both landlord and tenant.
Rent and deposit
An advance rental payment is required prior to the commencement of the tenancy. A rental deposit is also required. This will be reimbursed to you at the end of the tenancy, subject to the details of your agreement and the findings of the inventory check-out report.
Completion
Congratulations, keys are now handed over and you can move in to your new home!
